CHARTER.
The Islamic Resistance Movement's 1988 covenant, commonly called the Hamas Charter, includes an explicit statement about Israel and a passage in Article 7 describing the killing of Jews. These are Hamas's words in its founding document; they should not be attributed to Palestinians or Muslims as a whole.
“… fight the Jews (killing the Jews) …”
Article 7 reproduces a passage that calls for Jews to be killed in an apocalyptic battle. The wording is presented here as a quotation from Hamas's 1988 text.
